The Brazilian company GTeex introduced the KING-150 MAX drone during the Bahia Farm Show 2025, one of the largest agricultural fairs in Brazil, which featured special coverage by AgroPages. According to  GTeex, this new drone is the ″largest agricultural drone in Latin America".

Further, GTeex’s Executive Director, Luciano Santos, said that the new model presented at the fair ″impresses with its robustness and efficiency." The KING-150 MAX has a liquid capacity of up to 120 liters and a solid capacity of 170 liters, is equipped with detection radar, a high-pressure pump, and can reach a flight speed of up to 70 km/h, enabling it to spray up to 700 hectares per day.

Also, according to  GTeex, the KING-150 MAX can carry up to 150 kilograms of payload. The launch showcased by GTeex  also features eight motors, a spray swath of up to 20 meters, a flow rate of 40 liters per minute, and the capability to spread 300 kilograms per minute.

Innovations and Sustainability

The fair also brought an unprecedented innovation to the aeronautical sector with the presentation of an electric vertical takeoff aircraft, the Evetol model, designed to operate using green hydrogen. Developed in São José dos Campos, São Paulo state, this Brazilian-produced aircraft stands out due to its flight time of up to three hours and autonomous operation.

Meanwhile, Embraer presented the new version of its renowned Ipanema 203 agricultural airplane, powered by ethanol. The model is capable of covering over 200 hectares per hour, replacing the work of four ground sprayers.

″In addition to ensuring uniform application, the Ipanema prevents soil compaction and the spread of pests by contact, which can result in an increase of up to 15 sacks per hectare in production,″ said Sany Onofre, Embraer’s representative. He also noted the importance of the agricultural sector in the country’s economic development and the company’s commitment to providing high-performance solutions at a competitive operational cost.

With this set of innovations, more than one thousand brands were on display at the Bahia Farm Show 2025, all focused on the future of agribusiness. With the theme ″Smart Agro, Sustainable Future,″ the 19th edition of the Bahia Farm Show reinforces its role as a showcase for technological innovations. The fair, held in the city of Luís Eduardo Magalhães, in the western region of the Brazilian state of Bahia, brought together thousands of visitors, rural producers, and companies in the sector around solutions that integrate productivity, sustainability, and modernization in the field.
